Privacy Policy

1.1 Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Iraq Energy EPC Intelligence Platform (the "Platform"), operated exclusively for internal business development and procurement intelligence purposes by Uruk Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC ("Uruk", "we", "us").

1.2 Data We Collect

The Platform processes the following categories of data:

• User-submitted search queries — typed into the Search tab. Queries are stored in the D1 analytics database to generate trend reports and improve search relevance. No query is linked to a personal identity.
• Saved Leads & Watchlists — items manually saved by users are stored in the local browser (IndexedDB) and, where enabled, in the Cloudflare D1 database. This data is company property.
• Intelligence feed data — publicly sourced RSS and API content (news headlines, tender notices, project updates). No personal data is collected from these sources.
• Usage telemetry — anonymised interaction patterns (tab switches, load times) may be captured via Cloudflare Analytics for platform performance monitoring. No personally identifiable information (PII) is recorded.

1.3 Data Storage & Retention

• Search trend snapshots are retained in D1 for up to 90 days then purged.
• Saved leads and project memory data are retained indefinitely as company BD records.
• KV cache entries expire automatically (2–8 hours per key).
• All data is stored within Cloudflare's infrastructure under Uruk's account. No data is shared with third parties except as required by the AI providers listed below.

1.4 Third-Party AI Providers

The Platform sends text content (news headlines, project descriptions) to the following AI services for analysis and summarisation:

• Anthropic (Claude Haiku) — for intelligence enrichment, translation, and recommendations. Data is processed under Anthropic's API Terms of Service and is not used to train models.
• Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.3) — fallback AI processing. Data is processed within Cloudflare's infrastructure.

1.5 Access Control

Access to the Platform is restricted to Uruk Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC employees and authorised contractors. If you believe unauthorised access has occurred, report it immediately to the IT administrator.

Terms of Use

2.1 Authorised Use

This Platform is provided exclusively for the internal business development, procurement intelligence, and market research activities of Uruk Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC. Access is granted on a need-to-use basis.

2.2 Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Share, redistribute, or publish Platform output (reports, predictions, intelligence briefs) outside of Uruk without written management approval.
• Use the Platform for any purpose other than Uruk's legitimate business development activities.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying data models, prompts, or source code.
• Input confidential client data, personal data of third parties, or material non-public information into AI-powered fields.
• Misrepresent AI-generated intelligence as independently verified fact in external communications, proposals, or reports.
• Share access credentials or URLs with parties outside Uruk.

2.3 Intellectual Property

All curated intelligence, project tracking data, saved leads, and custom analysis produced via this Platform are the intellectual property of Uruk Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC. Third-party news content and publicly available tender notices remain the property of their respective publishers and are used under fair use for internal research purposes.

2.4 No Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" for internal use. Uruk makes no warranty that the Platform will be available at all times, error-free, or that the intelligence data is complete or current. Users accept the Platform in its current state.

2.5 Account Responsibility

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access. Report any suspected security issues to the platform administrator immediately.

2.6 Amendments

Uruk reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Legal Disclaimer & Intelligence Notice

3.1 Nature of Intelligence

The Iraq Energy EPC Intelligence Platform aggregates publicly available information from RSS feeds, government portals, news agencies, and procurement databases. All intelligence is derived from open-source materials and AI-assisted analysis. Nothing on this Platform constitutes legal, financial, investment, or procurement advice.

3.2 AI-Generated Content

Predictions, confidence scores, recommendations, and AI briefs are generated by large language models (Anthropic Claude Haiku and Cloudflare Llama 3.3). These outputs:

• Are probabilistic estimates based on available data — not guaranteed outcomes.
• May contain inaccuracies, omissions, or hallucinated details. Always verify critical facts independently before making bid/no-bid or commercial decisions.
• Confidence percentages reflect model-estimated probability based on Iraq-specific historical calibration data. They are indicative, not actuarial.
• Are not a substitute for due diligence, site visits, client engagement, or professional advice.

3.3 Third-Party Data Sources

Content sourced from third-party publishers (MEES, Reuters, OGJ, INA, Shafaq News, World Bank, etc.) is the property of those publishers. Uruk does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party content. Links to external sources are provided for reference only.

3.4 Iraq Market Conditions

The Iraq energy sector is subject to significant political, regulatory, security, and fiscal risks. Intelligence about projects, tenders, and awards reflects publicly available information at the time of publication and may change without notice. Project cancellations, funding withdrawals, and scope changes are common in this market. Users must apply professional judgment when acting on Platform intelligence.

3.5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Uruk Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC shall not be liable for any commercial loss, missed opportunity, or damage arising from reliance on Platform intelligence, AI recommendations, or confidence scores. The Platform is a decision-support tool — final commercial decisions rest with Uruk management.

3.6 Competitor Intelligence

Competitor profiles and market positioning data shown on this Platform are compiled from publicly available sources including company websites, press releases, project announcements, and industry reports. No confidential or improperly obtained competitor information is used.
